Sonohysterogram, often known as SHG, is an ultrasound scan procedure used to assess the reproductive organs in the female pelvic. The cervix, or neck of the womb, is used to insert a tiny catheter (uterus). Through this catheter, a tiny amount of fluid is injected to delineate the uterine cavity, which aids in identifying numerous problems. Usually, this exam is finished in within 30 minutes.
SHG is a test used to identify the root cause of disorders like infertility, recurrent miscarriages, and abnormal uterine flow. SHG can find:Uterus with an abnormal shapeAbnormal growths, such as polyps or fibroids, inside the uterusThe uterus's internal scar tissue is present
SHG is typically performed at the end of the menstrual cycle but can be done anytime for non-menstruating women, including those postmenopausal or on menstrual-suppressing medications. A sterile saline solution is then injected, outlining the uterine walls and cavity during the ultrasound. This enhances visibility, helping detect abnormalities like polyps, fibroids, or scar tissue.
In general, SHG is a safe procedure. Cramping or pain may be experienced by certain women. A extremely uncommon but possibly serious side effect of a SHG surgery is pelvic infection.

You would not have even heard of this Fertility Center, as there is no much advertisements as compared to others.
But they are doing THE BEST JOB, silently with great hospitality
We after trying multiple doctors and treatments, ended up at Jananam after seeing Google Reviews.
I seriously have lost all my hope of child bearing in these 7 years of my marriage life facing failures only in any of my treatments.
And it was diagnosed to be Unexplained Infertility! Hope you all know how it hurts!!!

We started our treatment on March 2021, and May 7th was MY DAY, When Dr. Vani Mam announced, it was a good and healthy pregnancy!!!

And our Special Thanks to the Sisters and Lab Technicians, who guided as throughout the treatment process without any mess.

Hello, iam one of the patients among Jananam Fertility Centre (way to find our dream). Becoming a mother is one of the biggest dreams for every women. My husband and I visited Jananam in May 2024 with lots of hopes. Dr. Vani was very friendly and knowledgeable in providing us with right recommendations. The nurses were very diligent and helpful in setting up subsequent meetings and follow ups. Overall, we returned with complete happiness. Jananam has played a very important role in our life.
